Who uses it?

The following is a compilation of links to web sites related to Xtreme or Xtreme-based programs. This isn't very much yet, so if you've written an Xtreme-based program, please send the URL of its web site and a brief description to me, so I can update this page.

Einstieg in die Informatik mit C++

Aufgabe 18 (auf Blatt 6; Pflichtaufgabe) und Aufgabe 27 (auf Blatt 9; freiwillig) benutzen Xtreme.

Nach meiner Erfahrung aus dem Praktikumsbetrieb wird das Stream-Konzept sehr schnell begriffen, und die Teilnehmer erlernen Xtreme praktisch nebenher. Meines Erachtens zeigt das, daß Xtreme das Hauptziel -- einfache Graphik bei minimaler learning curve -- erreicht hat.

(This is about a C++ introduction course at Karlsruhe University, where Xtreme has been employed to let the students have some visual feedback on some maths programs. Albeit C++ beginners, the students had no problems using Xtreme.)

Xygraph by Martin Häfner is an Xtreme-based library for plotting the results of measurements. Plotting your data is just a handful lines of code away, as the screenshot demonstrates.

HAROLD

The HAROLD project of the Oldenburg University is about construction of autonomous robots. Dirk Stüker from the Oldenburg Univ. has written a control program using Xtreme.

HAROLD II

HAROLD II is the successor of the above HAROLD project of the Oldenburg University. Xtreme is used to monitor the robot.
